The Joy of the Lord
What is that sense I have, Lord, which I can find no words to describe? What is that?
You have asked Me numerous times about the "joy of the Lord" and what it is. It comes from having everything offered and committed to the Father. It comes from knowing the One you worship and serve, wanting nothing else. You are beginning to experience the joy of the Lord, child. And you are on the brink of seeing why and how it is your strength.
About 5 days later:
Joy is related to the fruit and outcome, not to the difficulty in cultivating them—for the joy set before Me I endured the cross (Heb. 12:2). The joy is seeing My children come home and know what home is. I want you to join Me there—for the joy set before you, endure the obstacles, and the difficulty in pressing through them.
