I was praying through a number of very pressing events, unable at that point in the prayer to see the way through them and feeling a great responsibility to do so. Having cried out with them to my Father, I said: "I feel very overwhelmed, Lord." He said:

I smiled, chuckled out loud actually, and was absolutely amazed at His perspective. Almost instantly it worked peace in my heart. I brightened up and said: "So it’s a good thing?!" His description was much more true than mine. I wasn’t actually overwhelmed. I knew it was just a matter of trusting Him and taking a step at a time, something I could actually do. My heart was at peace, full of assurance, because the truth was not what it looked or felt like to me.

That is the kind of presence and participation, light, security, comfort, and stretching in faith we need at every turn. That is the constant fellowship that makes life livable and full. Without it, how long could I have spun around being overwhelmed? You might say: "Was that God the Father you heard, was it Jesus, was it the Holy Spirit?" I would say, "Yes" to that question. The source is the Father, and they all agree.
